I opened a CampusEdge Checking Account in the middle of my college years. In the beginning it was a great account that fit all my needs. The ability to move money through all BOA accounts from one online interface was great and made managing my finances really easy. Also you can find a BOA ATM on almost every corner making it easy for me to get cash when I most needed it on the run.

However, towards the end of my time with BOA I noticed some suspect practices that ultimately lead to my decision to close all accounts with the company. Suddenly my charges were being held longer than usual and on an untimely schedule. Fees were being charged to my account prior to my incurring them. These unwarranted fees lead to overdraft, which lead to more fees and time on hold waiting for customer service to clear things up.

If I had not experienced the negative interactions with BOA in the last few months, the account would likely still be open.
