Custodial Savings for Youth
from Bank of America
This savings account is for Bank of America checking or savings account holders who want to open a savings account for a child under 18 or 21 years (age depends on state law). The account can be opened with as little as $25 and can be managed online for free. And it's hand-off: kids can't touch the funds until they reach the age prescribed by state law. The interest is reported to the kid's social security number though.

This savings account gives you great peace of mind. It's a great way to give your kids the gift of security, one which they can enjoy watch grow with quarterly statement reports. They don't have access to it until they reach 18 or 21, so you know the money will come at a helpful time.
