High Yield CD IRA from Bank of America

This short-term high yield CD IRA from Bank of America has an 8 month term and a $2,000 minimum opening balance. It's available in traditional, roll-over and Roth IRAs. This IRA automatically rolls over into a new High Yield CD if you don't invest it elsewhere at the end of 8 months.

BEWARE! They took 14 days to mail the material that was needed to transfer an IRA from another bank. (They also said they had mailed it earlier but the postmark contradicted that.) When I told them it would now be too late to make the transfer before the CD matured and its grace period expired, they said "That's the way our transfer process works." If I wanted to not do it I should just not return the paperwork. The rate may be good but the service isn't worth it.

Great interest rates. the minimum is higher than other places but so far it is worth it. 8months is also a perfect amount of time for my needs. i would definitely recommend it
