Student Platinum Plus Visa Credit Card from Bank of America
The Student Platinum Plus Visa Credit Card from Bank of America is for students who are looking for a basic card with a few perks to help them build their credit history. You have to be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a full-time or part-time student at a credited institution to qualify. Benefits include deals at retail stores, pizza joints, salons and other establishments that Bank of America thinks college kids like. Plus, the card provides automatic rental insurance, and travel and emergency assistance. The card has no annual fee and does not require a co-signer. But it also doesn't have a low introductory APR: cardholders start paying interest right away.

I used this card when I was a U.S. college student. I wanted my own card to pay for my online purchases (books, journals etc.) It was super convenient to have this card and be able to use it every way I wanted! I recommend it to foreign students as well.

I have used the Student Visa Platinum Plus Credit Card for over 1 year now. It is a wonderful way to build credit and get established on your own! It's incredibly easy to pay online also.
I've had this card since I first started school, I recently decided to get rid of it because the interest was too high for me now, but when i was a student it was a great way to be able to afford books when times were hard.

I have had this credit card now for about four years and only use it for paying rent and major bills. Although it has around a 20% APR it is still a great way to build credit and keep track of payments. Easy to pay online.
I am now a sophomore in college and have had this card for a little over a year. Bank of America caters to the college student with an interesting and fun rewards program. I also like the fact that I am on my own with this card, no co signer - or parent seeing the Bill.
