Passbook Savings

Bank of the Sierra's Passbook Savings Account offers customers variable interest rates, earnings from the date of deposit until the date of withdrawal. Opening deposit is $50 and interest is credited quarterly. Monthly service charges are waived with any of the Bank of the Sierra Checking Accounts or for balances above $300. Otherwise, there is a $9 service charge per quarter. Transaction Limitations are - customers may make six (6) transfers from their account each four week or similar period, if by preauthorized or automatic transfer, or telephone (including data transmission) agreement, order or instruction. Three (3) of these transfers may be made by check draft, debit card or similar order (including POS transactions), made by the depositor and payable to third parties. Transfers and withdrawals made in person, by messenger, by mail or at an ATM are unlimited.
