I got this card shortly after getting my credit back on track. However after I had this card for one month, I saw an annual fee that was not supposed to be there, this particular card was not supposed to have one. Also, about a month ago I got a notice saying they are changing the way they calculate the minimum payment, it's a bunch of different percentages all added up, instead of a set amount like $15. Very confusing. But before then it was basically a decent card. Read the fine print before applying

its a decent card for those who are just starting to enter the world of credit such as someone who has just turned 18 with no credit history or someone who has had a few dings along the way id recommend it as its often offered with no annual fee and the terms are pretty straight forward where as with some companies you have no idea what you are agreeing too the biggest downside i would give this credit card is its lack of a limit increase it seems from my experience and that of others these increases are slim to none but all in all its a decent card for the above mentioned people

This was the first card I got after years of ruining my credit at a bad bank. They had the best rates at the time, and this card is specifically for people that don;t have great credit. However, make sure you don't overdraw because Capital One's service fees are insane. Other than that, I haven't had any problems
