Capital one has outsourced their jobs to India. Calls are now answered in India and Capital One representatives there are not authorized to do anything except reiterate what is on our statement. The only time I had a fraudulent charge on my card, it was for a purchase made in India, in New Delhi, the exact place where Capital One has people answering the calls. The service has been mediocre at best. I have canceled my card. I prefer to take my business to a company that keeps jobs in the US rather than outsource them to unqualified individuals in other countries.

I've had extremely great customer service from Capital One. They've made a lot of my financing decisions easy to use. Their website makes it easy for me to make monthly payments and also to apply for other lines of credit.

I've been rebuilding my credit slowly from bad decisions in youth, and this card definitely helps. I'm not crazy about variable apr's, but I am glad they gave me a chance.
