Platinum Credit Card (Average/Limited Credit) Reviews
Capital One, unlike other credit cards which I own are completely inflexible. I do not like their rigid rules specially when I asked them to adjust some fees. I only asked that because such fees were hidden and I had no way to know about them before hand. My credit was bad when I first started with them that is probably why I got taken advantage of. Still, even if my credit got better, they… didn't accept my request for decreasing the interest rate which stands at 15% for me.
I would not do business with them anymore, please stay away from this company

Capital One was kind enough to extend me credit when I was having trouble getting it, but boy did I pay for the privelege. On more than one occasion, they would assess the monthly or annual fee JUST when the account total was near the credit limit, and then charge me an overlimit fee. Be careful with Capital One.
This was a great card for me when I was first trying to repair my credit. I followed their instructions to get the limit increased and they increased it as they said they would. However, I find their billing system both confusing and unfair. When paying online, you MUST make your payment by 3 pm on the day it is due or you will be faced with outrageous late fees. My payment was made at 3:30… pm on the day it was due and it cost me a lot of extra money. Currently looking to switch.

This credit card is a great start for people just starting their credit history. It is fairly easy to obtain and the credit limit and apr isn't that bad. I have not had any problems with this card since I applied for it and I am very happy with it.
I currently have the Platinum Credit Card from Capital one. It has benefited greatly in helping me improve my credit. The small annual fee is worth the APR rate & is worth the credit building benefits that come with the card.
I think this is a great card for newbies who want to build good credit. You get no interest for several months, but after that it goes up to an agreeable 8.9%. The catch is that there is a small annual fee, but the apr is arguably the best for a starting card.
