I too lement the day I recieved and first used my Capital One credit card. They are so happy to increase your interest rate - even if you haven't done anything wrong. I have never once missed a payment but they have reported negatively on my credit report and have raised my interest twice. I have called and spoke with a representative only to be told that they were not required to tell me why and I could call the credit beauru for more information.

I regret ever signing up with Capital One. After having the card for sometime, I wrote that I wanted to cancel the card, however, they refused to cancel it and gave me a bad credit entry even though the card was secured and had a zero balance!
