Standard Platinum Credit Card Reviews
I have nothing bad to say about this credit card or Capital One. They have great customer service and when they know they messed up, they admit it quickly and take care of you. The interest rate on the card is a bit high but it is pretty much the standard. Something great though is that after a period of time Capital One will actually raise up your credit limit, given that you havent over burne…d the card.

I've had my Capital One card for about 5 years now. It was great, as I was just going to college and got it as a back up originally, for emergencies. Now though, the interest rate still hasn't gone down after years of paying it on time. Compared to another credit card I have, I'd definitely go with the other one. Capital One's customer service is quick to get a hold of, but I honestly have such… a hard time understanding anybody I talk to, and everything is so scripted it takes forever before they get through their scripted ads to actually talk with you. If you have poor credit, this is definitely a good option. There are just better cards out there.

Capital One's credit card services are great. The interest rates aren't all that great, but I usually pay off my bill every month. My roommate also has this card, and he hasn't had a problem with it either. They have excellent customer service and minimal finance charges.
I got this card to help rebuild my credit rating. The interest rate is higher than I'd like, but I was aware of it going in. Since I got it, I've been able make good on payments, and they even raised my credit limit after having it for a year!
The company is excellent with dealing with fraudulent charges, but the interest rate is high, and the phone operators are sometimes unpleasant and hard to understand.
This card is ideal for anyone with a troubled credit history but is still looking for a flexible card. There is no interest applied to purchases in the first months, no balance transfer fees, and you get a generous stating credit limit.
