Wow! I'm amazed and sorry to hear of the really bad experiences some of you have had. Scary to see that it seems @ such a high %age rate! I have used Cap One 3 times now, and so far (feel like I need to knock on wood here), they have ALL been great experiences. They draft the money every month and I have online access to watch the balances, etc.** (it might due to mention that you get a lower rate doing this and so far, so good - have never had a problem). I paid off my first loan and purchased the second and the 3rd was for my husband. A week ago, my husband's car was hit and the insurance company is totaling the car -UGH! :( I came back to Cap One for my new loan only to find that now, they've now changed the game so we can't go to the dealer of our choice. I either use their "approved" dealers (can say kickback/assured sales??), or you can't get the loan! Guess I'm spending my money somewhere else. Really bummed about it. It was so easy to get the online approval and "do my deal." Best of luck to you in your experiences.
