My company recently moved from Fidelity to Charles Schwab. I loved Fidelity - their site, their customer service and their willingness to go the extra mile for their customers. The two times I called Charles Schwab I have to admit I wasn't as impressed. I had some questions about buying funds outside of what my company chosen and he wasn't clear how I could go about setting it up. I left the phone call thinking of Fidelity and how they always took care of the customer.

While I have no say what company my employer chooses to manage our 401k, I do think switching to Charles Schwab was a step back for us.

Schwab has great options to choose from, even better rates, and their services are outstanding. With an established name in the industry, you know you can trust their investors with your hard earned money.
