I've had a AAA card for over 13 years and used it to transfer balances onto due to the low interest rates, well Chase doesn't like having to loan me money at a low rate and having perfect payment history I don't generate a lot of money for them. So they increased the minimum payment by over $800 per month. When I called them they said the only option for me was to transfer to a Balance Liquidation Plan and pay off the balance and close the card. So after 13 years, I'll lose my card, thanks to Chase, my credit rating will take a hit and I'll lose the available credit. Now Chase will lose me as a customer as I'll move all my accounts away from them.

I love my AAA card. Seriously. I am an avid credit card comparison shopper. I have had CitiBank Rewards cards, Divided cards, etc... My AAA Card is my ALL TIME FAVORITE card. 5% Rewards on Gas. 2% on AAA products, i.e., your insurance payment. 1% on everything else. Besides the VERY generous 5% on gas, the BEST part about this card is that you can redeem your reward points for CASH. Unlike Citi's Thankyou Network where you have to spend $3,000 to earn 3,000 points and in turn you can get a lame gift card for a store, with AAA you spend $500 in gas, you earn 2,500 points, you log on to your account and you can redeem that 2,500 points for a $25 check. And the customer service on this is great. The check is mailed to you within 2 or 3 weeks. Unlike the aforementioned other programs where the reward gift cards take 4 to 6 weeks. In this economy how can you refuse such a great deal? AAA really looks out for its members and this little known gem of a product is the BEST.
