I've been a chase cardholder for many years and never paid late, paid off the balance each month and used it for personal use only. I received a letter accusing me of using it for business. They closed the account. Never have I done that. I can't believe that the leffer accused me of something I didn't do. I have closed my other accounts with chase. It's extremely dissappointing on their part. I can imagine that people that pay late or don't pay their bill and may never be able to pay, still have an open account. So they're treating customers that pay their bills like this. No wonder the banking industry is so messed up and needed government help. JS

chase cancelled my account because i purchased to much gas and will not pay my awards of 560.00 dollars. I have NEVER been late on a payment since 2002. I think somone needs to step up and do something about this cause I know Im not the only one this has happened to.

Like many others I just had my card canceled. Always paid full on time. Used it just for gas and diesel for motor home. Over one year built up $900 rebate which they probably will not pay. What's up with this company??
Will never buy another drop of BP gas.

I also had my card cancelled for excessive gas useage. I've had this card for 14 years, paid it off each month and on time. It appears that if you do not use it to purchase items other than gas on this card, you too will have it cancelled for no reason.

I too have had my credit card cancelled by Chase with No notice for what they deemed as excessive use, there assuming it was being used for a business. BOGUS! We gassed up 4 cars on this card, never went over our limit, and always paid off our balance each month. Are you starting to see a pattern?

Chase cancelled my card with NO notification because they assumed it was being used for business purposes. I bought gas for three vehicles, never exceeded the credit limit, never late, and paid in full every month. Apparently they don't want to pay rebates to those who don't carry a balance and pay interest. Their website says "add anyone you choose to your account to receive more rewards." BS

I paid my bill on time, under credit limit, bought all our family gas from BP. And Chase BP cancelled my card because they said I was spending too much and I must be using it for business, which I was not. I've have never been treated with such disrespect as I have been by BP.

I have been using BP - Chase Credit card since 2 years. I am really satisfied with the customer service. The main reason why I choose this credit card is because of 5% credit on purchase of gas on BP gas station. I can cash that out in checks/BP Gift card whenever the amount exceed $25.

With the rising gas prices and the amount of gas that I use I was very inclined to sign up for Visa's BP Credit Card. The cash back offers for purchasing gas add up quick and are very appreciated when you are paying over $4 a gallon for gas. They even offer you cash back on dining and traveling. This is a must have for people who do alot of traveling.
