I was a cardmember since 1983 -- that is, until November, when I was summarily informed that my account was closed due to it being used in a business capacity. While I did purchase things for the company I worked for, I do not own a business; moreover, as I had two other active authorized users on my account, it was only reasonable there should be myriad purchases. But I never went over my credit limit, paid off the balance in full every month and was a very responsible user of my BP VISA card. And for such behavior the company saw fit to cancel over $1,060 of earned rewards. When I questioned these actions, I was informed that I'd received a notice about all this; I don't believe I ever have. It certainly wasn't anything I was reminded about at the company web site, through which I would view my statement and pay my bill.

Truly, this company is the worst with which I've ever associated myself. I am so disappointed and angry that I sincerely hope some kind of class action suit can occur from such egregious behavior.
