BAD, BAD Customer Service. Buyer-Beware! I applied for the Southwest Chase card through an online offer. There was no confirmation # or anything to track it by, so when it didn't arrive by mail, I figured my online application must never have gone through & soon forgot about it. Fast forward several months...I receive a statement from Chase Southwest in the mail charging me a late fee on top of the annual fee unpaid on the card. I spoke with customer service letting them know I never received, nor activated this card and to please waive the fees. Two levels of management refused to do this, even though I emphasized that I never ACTIVATED the card, legally proving I never received it. With that, I requested they close the account & just open a new one, to which they responded that they'd have to charge me an additional annual fee to open a new card, on top of the annual fee & late fee on the never-activated card. I had explained that I was a long-time Chase customer, with a 5-year financial record with them, with 60 months of timely payments in-full on a $60,000 BMW I financed through their purchase program and not trying to 'pull the wool over their eyes or anything', I just NEVER received the card. They did not budge. Within 2 weeks, I received a letter with no explanation crediting my card for the annual fee and a new card by mail. Happily, I figured someone must have realized their error of there and this time, called to activate receipt of the card. I was told it had been closed by me!....and I'd have to start all over again with a new application on-line, and 'no', they couldn't have me apply by phone', even though I was already on the phone with them. This company will drive you insane!

recently had a security alert placed on our card. When I tried to call them(at the number they supplied) I was told that I have to wait for someone to call me. They don't take incoming calls???? It's been a week and I have not heard from anyone. I called many times and NO CAN HELP ME except the one who will call me. This is ridiculous and we will cancel this card as soon as the ONE calls. We will never take another Chase card.

The rapid rewards and everything is alright... but these people are not very customer friendly. I would ask everyone to be very careful with their rules... as there is no forgiving even if you make a small mistake.

I have had this card for almost two years and can't say enough about it. The only drawback is the annual fee of $59.00, but the free flights more than make up for it. If you enjoy traveling and tend to fly Southwest then this card will help you travel about the country.

Chase Bank administers the credit card and although I do my banking online making payments on their website is fast, safe, and secure. They also have a message center that quickly responds to queries.

It is my understanding that it takes SWA Chase visa 8 days in addition to 4-5 days for the postal service to deliver for a total of 13+ days to post a payment. I wish I would have known this before I applied for this card. I was charged a fee of $39.00 for being late and because that made me have a past due balance, my card was "frozen". SWA Chase Visa is not customer service oriented. THis is the card from hell!

The worst service ever! When calling the credit card service for Rapid Rewards not received you'll get the run around. You'll have to fax the info and they will never receive it and they only have one fax number and no one to talk to........I'll cancel my credit card today if you don't want to have a hassle with it. Good luck to you.

I always fly southwest so this card was perfect for me. i got a lot of extra points when i signed up. there is an annual fee but it ends up being a better deal in the end because i save more than $59 with the free flights i have gotten
