I am cancelling my card. Every month I get the $10 card from them. Haven't used them in a while. My wife brought 4 of them with her to Toys R Us to use on a purchase and found out a new policy they have. If you do not redeem the $10 card within 6 months of issuance, they start deducting a $1 "maintenance fee" each month. My card from Jan.09 only has $6 left on it because it's now Nov. Feb. 09 has $7, etc. What a ripoff. Instead of $40, her cards were only worth $30. What good is that?

Recieved my statement this month and there was an unexpected charge of $4.89 on it. I had sent a payment for the total amount I owed and didn't understand why the charge. I called customer service and was told my payment was late. It was due on the 3rd and I sent it on the 1st. They posted my payment on the 4th. then charged me interest of $4.89. I couldn't believe they would do that when I paid the entire bill in full. I told them to cancel my account and I would send the 4.89 ,to my surprise she said I owed $43.89 because I also had a late fee that would be reflected on my next months bill. I will never shop at either of their stores again. I feel sorry for the people that have to depend on their credit cards to make purchases and have to deal with such an unsavory company.

I love the store, but HATE the card. I have had more than one issue with unfair fees. I applied for it because they offered a discount on my purchase. The rewards coupons are nice, but not worth dealing with their customer service!

I APPLIED FOR A CREDIT CARD TO BUY BABY FURNITURE FOR MY NEW GRANDCHILD. THEY SAID IT WAS INTEREST FREE FOR 6 MONTHS. EXACTLY ON THE 6TH MONTH I GOT A $86.14 FINANCE CHARGE BECAUSE I DID NOT PAYN IT OFF IN FULL IN 6 MONTHS. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT PART OF THE DEAL. IN MYN OPINION BABIESRUS STINKS!!

I signed up for the card when shopping for my sons bday.

I didnt receive my credit card in the mail right away (i had just moved and was waiting for it to be forwarded) so I called WAMU-Chase to get the phone number to ToysRus, Chase gave me the number and I contacted toysrus.

I told them about the mail issue and asked if I could get my account number to set up an online bill pay through before my payment became late, they said that they wouldn't give me my own account number. I asked if they could take a payment over the phone and they said yes, but it was something like a 15.00 fee, so I was like 'how can I pay?" they gave me their mailing address and said "order checks, write a check, put your account number in the comments and mail it to us."

The issue here is this, why would I pay 15.00 to order checks- that could take 4 weeks to get to me with the mail delay, and how could I put my account number in the comments on the check when they wont give me my account number? I got the impression that they were honestly just making excuses to delay my payment for the purpose of charging me late fees and interest. I came to them in good faith just wanting to pay my bill and they refused to help me in this situation. I closed my card within 2 months of having it and I will never ever get a chase affiliated credit card again unless it's coming directly from the bank. ToysRus does not know how to treat their customers and would rather rip-off single moms who need to take out a credit card to ensure their son's birthday wishes come through. Their customer service reps are obviously trained to be rude, lazy and incompetent.

The itrest rate is to high and the store never has what we need!

I don't recommend this card! When they offer me their credit card at the registare I thought what a great idea, I ask as much questions as I could to the cashier and she pointed to a purple booklet and told me all the info i need i will be able to find in it and address and phone numbers. There was no phone number to contact the crediccard people and I got hang up a few times whne i was making questions about their company. I never recived my credit card I talk to them a few times and the only thing the will send me was my bill. The last time I call in I paid for the entire amount charge to the card and asked for my account to be close, they toldme no problem and that i didn;t owe them anything else. I just recived another bill for a service charge and I called them back, they told be is a valid charge becasue i close my account in the middle of the cycle, and that it doesn't matter I never recived their credit card. After more than 4 month of not been able to use the credit card they still want more money from me. Do not get this credit card, the service charges are to expensive and their customer service unreliable.

their policy charges you a minimum $1 finance charge even if you pay the entire balance prior to the payment due date. For example, I had a balance carried over several months, on Dec. 30, 08, I paid the entire balance (due date was Jan. 2, 09). When I received my January bill, there was $1 due. When I questioned it, I was told that the finance charge had accrued on the ~$56 balance during the previous month and when I paid the stated balance, this did not include that interest that had accrued from the first day of the billing cycle until the date of payment and since finance charge is $1 minimum that was what was posted to my account. I will be cancelling all THREE Chase credit cards and sticking with my credit union who doesn't play this games!

I love my card. It was easy to get when I applied in the store and received a 10% discount on my first purchase. I love the $10 rewards certificates I get.

As a new mom i LOVE this card. I earn a lot of extra points on things i have to buy anyway. chase also has great customer service and they are everywhere
