AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Card Reviews

Dawn, According to the additional disclosure section on the Citicards website for this card, the insurance is a maximum of $100 over the required $50 deductible. So it appears that this is not enough to cover the more expensive phones...especially the smartphones. Disclosure found here:

The other thing to know about this card is that in order to get the cashback rewards on AT&T phones and service, you have to match the spending from other categories. So if you spend $500 in phone service, you have to put $500 on the card in other purchases in order to unlock the 5-10% savings.

Still this is all in all a good card for AT&T customers, especially if you have a large bill (max savings on card is $350 per calendar year).

This card offers some pretty good benefits if you use AT&T, including free insurance for your cell phone. If you're going to get the pricey new iPhone, that's a great bonus. There's also no annual fee, and you can save up to $350 annually on AT&T products and services.
