Citi Dividend Platinum Select MasterCard Reviews
You no longer get 5% cash back. Actually, I've had my card since '07 and they got rid of the 5% right after I signed up.
Also, they put lots of random holds on your account. I've always paid my bill in full and it sometimes just gets put on hold.
I went to Spain in July, called Citi and told them I would be in Spain so not to put my card on hold. What happened? 2 days in, my card gets put on hold.
I'm actually using this site now to find a new Mastercard.

I have this card and posted a payment a day late due to a holiday. was charged a $39 late fee and they jacked my APR from10.9% to 28.95 and posted a negative mark on my credit report. This was the first time I was ever late. What happened to the grace period?

I have a Citibank Mastercard and have had it for a few years now.
I like having it for emergencies.
I don't like the fact that every month there seems to be extra charges added on to my account for one reason or another.
I do like the citi rewards that I recieve when I use my card.

This card is currently my primary card. Unfortunately when I started it gave about 5% back, very shortly it dropped to about 2%. The interest rate is about average, although I never carry a balance. One thing I don't appreciate about Citi is that the statement dates have gradually shifted. The due dates as well sometimes shift out of the blue. I have been able to receive numerous credit line increases through the auto interface. That's another thing, I consider myself computer savy and their website is pretty easy to navigate. But they seem to switch it around pretty regularly, which definitely takes some getting used to and may confuse some. In all, I'm pretty happy with Citi.

This card really did the job for me. However, once I got my AX blue, I've stopped using this card. With that said, this is still a very good card with decent cash back. In addition, the no annual fee part makes this card very inticing.

The Citibank card has been my main one for years. One of Citicards excellent features is their online Virtual Account Number service that lets you create a unique, one time use, account number that makes shopping online very secure. No one can misuse your account number since it is only valid for the one purchase you use it for. I love this feature.

This was one of the first credit cards I ever applied for and was very satisfied with it. 5% back on supermarkets, gas stations, and drug stores. Throughout the years, however, they slowly lowered the rewards and I have become increasingly aware of the lack of rewards accumulating in my account, despite that I have been spending more than I did back when I was in college when I first received the card. It's disappointing that the reward percentage is no longer that competitive compared to other cards. I do wish they at least kept ONE category to be at a higher percentage.
I still keep this card in my wallet - somewhat grudgingly. The card now gives 2% back on gas, drugstore, grocery and utility. Customer service is decent enough but I've been considering picking up the Chase Freedom Cash card for better rewards.
I have had this card for several years and it's been my primary credit card. The cashback is good, even though it was better in the past when they gave 5% in supermarkets, gas stations, drug stores, etc during all times, not just the first 6 months. During the past several years, I have had several instances where Citi issued me a new card because of security reasons, which caused a lot of inconvenience because I had to change my card info on all my bills. I also had fraudulent charges on it once, which Citi made it fairly easy to deal with.
