The "Citi mtvUTM Platinum Select Visa Card for College Students from Citibank" is really of big help to me and specifically to my son who is now on college. I was really amazed with their "balance transfer" rate which is 0%. That was awesome! Aside from that, there is no annual fee which might become a burden for in the future. This card also helps me in motivating my son to have higher grades. I am very thankful that I have applied for this card. Thanks!

This credit card is great! It gives you 5 ThankYou points/dollar spent on things that every college student does (movies, fast food, books, etc.). On top of that, you get 1 TY point/dollar for all other purchases. You can also get more points for having a good GPA and paying your monthly bills on time and the TY Network can be used to get anything from gift cards to electronics. I also shop at Amazon.com a lot and you can get a $50 gift card every 6,000 TY points and on top of that, Amazon is considered a bookstore, so you get 5 TY points/dollar spent! Its super easy to get approved, the online banking system makes it easy to pay bills automatically and if you pay your bills on time, Citibank is happy to give you a credit increase. I have been happily using this card for 6 months and love it! Highly recommended as a first credit card or for anyone in college!

This is the best card I've found as a College Student! The 0% intro rate is fantastic and the Reward System, The Thank You Points, is easy to keep up with and follow. Not to mention you get bonus points for paying on-time as well as more points for shopping as a college student does. Great Card, Highly recommend!

I signed up for this credit card a couple years back. I use it every time I eat at a restaurant or at a franchise, or when I go to the movie. Both of these help you to get 5 ThankYou points for every dollar spent. On all other purchases, you get 1 point for every dollar spent. I've never had any problems with this card and their online banking keeps track of my spending. However, sometimes it takes almost a week before your transactions are posted.
