Citi Platinum American Express Card Reviews
I used this card for three years. It was great, there were no hidder fees and even an opportunity to win prizes.
This is by far the best credit card out there - for the first year. For the second year, this is certainly a good card to have. After that, the annual fee does not make it worth carrying at all.
A key benefit not mentioned in the review is that ALL purchases on this exceptional card earn 3 thank you points per dollar for the first 24 months.
Shrewdly redeemed for travel, these points can be worth more than 1.5 cents each, making this card an exceptional rewards card. (Earnings are capped at 150,000 points per calandar year).
Another excellent benefit: Citt's credit monitoring service…, which provides new scores and reports from all three agencies every month.
At least until the annual fee kicks in, it is probably the best overall American Express card available for most potential customers.
In any case, it is currently the most heavily used card in the Hanson house. :)

I have a Citibank credit card with Thank You points right now as my main card. but since my family shop at Costco a lot and many restaurants don't take Visa/MC, I always need an AMEX in my wallet just in case. With my AMEX Blue Cash, I don't get Thank You points, so this card is my perfect solution to having an AMEX but also earning points.
