Day-to-Day Savings Account from Citibank

This is a very basic savings account. You'll avoid monthly fees as long as you maintain a minimum balance of $500, or link the account to another Citi product so that the combined balance meets that hurdle. Balances up to $100,000 are FDIC-insured.

Citibank once made a substantial error when processing one of my deposits. I had to jump through a number of hoops to get it straightened out. Beyond that it has been a positive experience for me with Citibank.

Great offer from CitiBank. It has always been easy for me to maintain a balance of over 500 dollars. I wish the interest rate were a little bit higher, but i do not use the account for "life savings"

I have had this savings account ever since I moved to New York nearly 20 years ago. It's a simple account that I've come to use as a "couch money" fund for fun things. Always reliable, easy to find ATMs and not very much junk mail.
