Citibank is not great. It is very difficult to get information about the different branches of the mortgage and the customer service people are often very difficult to understand and will not give you the full story. I was very disappointed because they assessed flood insurance on my apartment that I didn't need and charged me $2,000 for it and would not clean up the mess cooperatively. If I had it to do over again, I would choose a different lender.

I have my mortgage with Citibank and so far, I’ve had no problems with them. I set up automatic payments through my checking account and I haven’t had to think about it since. When I was applying for my mortgage, Citibank’s rates were great. I do most of my banking with Citi and so, it seemed logical to have my mortgage with them as well. Overall, I think it’s been a good decision.
