Love this card. But as with any card, you need to pay off your balance every month . . . an 11%+ interest rate is just too much to be paying!

Wow I must have had a bad customer service rep! I think that they are horrible, inattentive and their web site leaves alot to be desired. I am relatively saavy and couldn't find out how to make payments automatically.

This card is ok. It does the typical "Earn 5% in the first 250$ spent in X category" but this is nothing like my Chase Freedom card that pays 3% on my top 5 categories (With checking increases categories). That chase card alone gives me over 1,000$ a year in rewards without a dime of interest. If you want to play the game of "Sign Up for X Category" and want to try and keep track, then this is the card for you. But if not, look for a card that gives decent rewards (2-3%). (Please note the Chase Freedom Card no longer offers the 3% back for life. Existing card holders still have this offer.)

This is my only credit card. Discover has great customer service, and the rewards are pretty decent. I earn $20 every few months that I can redeem against my balance, direct deposit into my checking or savings, or credit towards a gift card or gift certificate for up to double the amount. The rate is not bad either. The online account management site is also very user friendly.

I've had my Discover card for over 7 years now and I am VERY PLEASED with their service!
It is a great pleasure to speak with the customer service associates and their cash back is nice icing!!

Compare this with the lousy service for Chase's Priority Club Visa -- you are any day better off with the Discover!!

Discover credit cards are highly underrated and are often overlooked when searching among the 'bigger' credit card companies. I've been highly satisfied with my Discover credit card, and the customer service is great. Ease of use combined with excellent customer care are the main selling points of this card, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have been using my discover card for many years now. At first it was an introductory rate with no interest for a set period of time. That was what got me hooked. After I paid that off, I decided to use it and pay it off every month just for the cash back bonus. I use it to buy just about everything, and they really do pay you back!

The customer service is good. Security on is tight which is good. Any shady transactions submitted will cause a review and you to be contacted. The cash back incentive is okay, nothing to write home about. Also they have made collecting the bonus more of a pain.

This company is the best credit card. My card was used by someone else to purchase a laptop. Not only did I get an email saying a large purchase was made on my account, they removed it immediately. Also, when I was traveling they noticed that it was being used in different states.... they actually called me up to make sure that it was me using it. I feel very safe with them. I also like their cash back bonus.
