This stored-value card can be used for purchases wherever Discover Cards are accepted in the United States. These gift cards can have from $20 to $500 in value. Cards with a "valid thru" date after March, 2011 do not expire. If not totally spent when the the "valid thru" date is hit, you must contact customer service for a new card. Additionally, cards can be replaced if lost (as long as you keep the number handy elsewhere.) After 12 months without use, Discover assess a $2.50 monthly dormancy fee.

Cards with a "valid thru" date before March, 2011, can be replaced for $5.00 up to 90 days after the expiration date.
