Retired from my job two years ago, I had 200,000 to live on for the next ten years before my other annuities kick in. 20,000 for a car and 18,000 a year to live on.
Well now I only have 10,000 a year to live on Thanks to Edward Jones and their false guarantees of safety. My financial advisor actually screamed at me and told me to get another job and invest more money.
I've never dealth with a more unethical company. If you are retired or going to retire in the near future ..stay away from Edward Jones.
It was not this agent but another one in Aurora that made trades without my consent. The investigation that Edward Jones will not call you. They only talk to the agent. The SEC is investigating. I am going to court. Also, google your agent's name before you even drive by their "place of business".

Every Edward Jones rep that I have spoken to have been has been very helpful and has patient with me in planning my investments. I have been outperforming the S&P 500 this year, which is better than most of my friends. So thanks Ed, I hope this trends continues!
