Edward Jones is horrible. They charge yearly fees to manage your IRA. We finally were sick of the fees and transferred to a Scottrade IRA and guess what, Edward Jones charged us $90 to do the transfer. These guys are legalized crooks as far as I am concerned.

I feel very comfortable investing with Edward Jones. They have very personable, knowledgeable, and dedicated financial advisers. I knew very little about IRAs until speaking with an EJ representative, and now I feel comfortable with my money in one. I feel that my future has some stability in this shaky economy.

I recently rolled an existing IRA account into a new one at Edward Jones. I switched after being dissatisfied with the customer support at my previous bank. The people at Edward Jones were knowledgeable and very easy to work with. They are particularly good at giving you a solid base of facts to help understand the complexities of tax laws and financial instruments.
