I was first insured with Farmers back in 1979 and have never had a problem.

The idea that since Farmers was owned by British American Tobacco for 7 years and sold at the bequest of Farrmers is a bad insurance company sounds ridiculous to me.

Farmers used to be all-American till they sold out to British American Tobacco. Who then merged assets with Zurich. Much of the company is still owned by Big Tobacco.

I have been with Farmers Insurance for a really long time now and I love them! I have had to submit a claim for someone hitting my car when it was parked and they were very helpful and very easy to deal with. It's always a pleasure to do business with them. And I have full coverage on my van with a $250 deductable and it's at a very reasonable price! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

My family has used Farmers for car insurance forever, and they've always been dependable. Plus, you have to love that name!
