I'm 27 years old and I wanted to start my own IRA for the future. After deliberating for a few weeks and choosing between Fidelity and Vanguard, I chose Fidelity. The Simple Start Roth IRA seemed much easier to manage - I can log-in online using their very simple interface and contribute using my Fidelity mySmart Cash account. There's a wide range of investment products available, some with no …or very low fees - I personally chose to invest in a no-load cycle fund which automatically invests my money for me, depending on my age. Customer service is also top-notch - they are available 24 hours a day and service reps are friendly and knowledgeable. My only regret is not having started an IRA earlier.
