Fifth Third is amazing. I banked with places like Chase and PNC and they both loved to penalize me with overdraft fees I wouldn't even know I was getting them and why. I've had fifth third for almost 4 months now and have yet to fall in the negative. On Wednesday, I needed gas but only had $1.00 in my account, but I was able to fill up anyway. I thought I was going to incur overdraft fees (which would've totally been my fault), but when my check from work posted this morning, I was still in the positive and all but the money I used to get gas with was gone. What a relief! I love fifth Third!

I love my Fifth-Third Student Checking account. I got a free book of checks and $25.00 just for signing up. With my account I also received a free MasterCard Debit card, and being MasterCard, I can use it almost anywhere. I love being able to check my account online and the interface is wonderful. They also have great support for when you lose your card.

Of the banks in my area I found the Fifth-Third bank offers just what my kids were looking for. They just needed a place to put their savings and cash their checks. At the same time they are learning a little financial responsibility. I would probably give it a 5 if there were more banks in the area that offer this service for kids.
