First American Bank savings account include the SaveFirst, Statement Savings and the traditional Passbook Savings. The bank will waive all normal monthly fees on the First American checking account when one maintains a combined minimum daily balance among the checking, savings, and money market accounts (between $3,500 and $25,000, depending on the account). First American Bank's Statement Saving account requires a low minimum balance, pays a higher interest rate than the Passbook account, and the interest is credited to customer accounts on their monthly statement date. Savings and Money Market accounts may be accessed 24 hours a day through any STAR® ATM, while Bank-By-Phone is available from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, central standard time, seven days a week on all accounts.
