I don't know what card they gave you, but my Visa Debit Card had no problem accumulating $132 worth of fees for one $12 overdraft in a one day time period.

They tell you that they "hold" money so that your payment is sure to go through... but they do not tell you that before the actual payment is sent they put the money BACK in to your account, so if you were accidentally unaware of an overdraft fee then you may not have the funds that you thought you did.

The Visa Debit Card from this bank (and offered at many) is a perfect solution for those who want to control their spending. That is why I got this card. With a debit card, you can only use the money in your checking account. Using the Visa Debit Card is fast, simple, and usually worry-free. To avoid debit fees, just use it as a credit card. It's accepted almost everywhere, and I highly recommend its use for anyone, especially teenagers.
