I can't believe that loan sharking is made legal these days. This company stoops as low as to threaten your relatives and neighbors if they are "hidding" the loanee! I am 60 days past due on my account due to financial hardship and the phone calls have not stopped. This company calls my parents 3 times a day as well as my neighbors, and this is after talking to me! What is their problem?

DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A COMPLETE AND TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! They are harassing, abusive, non-compassionate, ruthless, rude, underhanded, and the list goes on and on and on and on!!!

You might as well get a payday loan to get a car, you will get harassed less.

I have had several ford motor credit loans over the last few years without incident. I purchased a new SUV last June and was told that I could pay off the amount without penalty. My bank offered a better interrest rate so I financed through my bank. My bank sent a cashier's check for the payoff amount four weeks ago. Whoever received the check did not endorse the check and said there was insufficient funds on a cashier's check! They will not credit my account and I have been receiving late payment phone calls and notices in the mail.
I have an ecxellent credit rating and because of Ford Credit's mistake they are harrassing for late payment.
I cannot seem to get the same person twice to work on this case. I have ask for a check detail and have not been granted one. I have had it with FORD. I have owned Ford trucks and SUV for years but I am thinking of trading for something else.

I received a car loan through ford Motor Credit in 1993 for my first car. I had the car for one year and i sent a payment that was 76.00 short with a letter stating that I would pay the remainder in two weeks when I got paid. A gentleman from FMC called my employer and told him that I was short on my car payment. I returned his call and he began to cuss me out and call me many obscene names. Needless to say i returned the car back to the dealership because I refused to do business with a company with such poor collection tactics. I have been telling people about this for many years. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FORD MOTOR CREDIT if you don't want this to happen to you.

Handled end of lease very poorly. Sent a rude inspector. Then told me the dealer had final say on damage. Still demanded damages despite dealer OK. Threatning letter sent to myself and spouse even after dealer sent fax stating nothing should be due. Will NEVER do business with them again!

I had a loan with Ford Motors for my Ford Taurus with a special rate on the manufacturer financing. I never had a single problem or a reason to use customer service. Everything went just fine throughout the life of the loan!
