IBC Bank's Connection Checking Account combines a NOW and Money Market account to take advantage of bonus rates on CDs. Included free is IBC visa check card, IBC bank online with pay and IBC voice. Overdraft courtesy is also available. Requirements and service fees include an average collected balance of $7,500 or more or minimum daily balance of $5,000 to avoid monthly service fee or $15 monthly service fee if minimum balance requirements are not met. NOW account requires daily collected balance of $1,500 to earn interest while the Money Market account requires a daily collected balance of $5,000 to earn interest. A per debit charge is $0.25 is applicable with postage fee based on number of enclosures. On Money Market Account telephone, third party and preauthorized transfers are limited to 6 per month.
