Indymac Bank offers a Super Savings account and a Starter Savings account. The minimum to open a Super Savings is $100, and the interest rate increases slightly with higher balances. Keep a monthly balance above $250, and you'll avoid a monthly fee of $3. The Starter Savings plan is available to children under 18. There is no monthly fee, and accounts with higher balances also draw slightly higher interest rates.
