TurboTax Reviews
Even if you like to do your taxes by hand, TurboTax is a great tool for catching simple mistakes and providing a last minute sanity-check. I haven't used the add-on software for deduction suggestions, as I found the core package more than suitable (for my needs).
As Minhthe noted, your second year using TurboTax can be a breeze if you choose to make use of the importing features. I haven't u…sed their online version, but the desktop application definitely lets you pre-populate fields from the previous year's save-data.
The ability to export returns (and relevant forms) as PDF files is also a welcome feature - much more convenient than storing paper copies in a filing cabinet.

I have been a TurboTax.com customer for the last 7 years and I have only good things to say about them.
Let's be honest here. When a company produces a product that translates complex tax rules and qualifications to a simple step-by-step wizard that is understandable they are on to something big.
I particularly like how I can use previous year's returns therefore shaving minutes off my filin…g time. I love how I can save and resume where I left off or jump to particular sections of the filing process. For 2007, if I am not mistaken, they released their community feature that allows users to poll the public for answers to their tax questions. When I posted my question, I got a response in less than 10 minutes.
And the best part of using TurboTax.com is that I dont have to download any software. It is secure and housed on Intuit's site for next year's filing.
