I have file my income tax retrun with Jackson Hewitt for the last 3 years and I have never had any problems. I was referred by a friend. They help her reduce her federal balance more than $900, my friend had her taxes filed with HR Block that year and they told her she didn't quailfied to Itemize. well she had Jackson Hewitt recheck it and they found her so many more deductions to where she got a refund instead of owing the IRS. So I've filed with them that year and my prepare helped me to understand my tax situation and even gave me advise on how to maximize my return for the next year. I was extremly pleased with them and would referr anyone to them. Keep up the great work girls!!

had 2007 taxes done and then this past month got a letter from the irs stating we owe $1000 bc jh didnt include all my w-2s. have spoke to many jh service reps and get the run around even from supervisors. my lawyer is now invloved!

I filed my taxes through Jackson Hewitt for 6 years. I thought they were wonderful and did a great job, until the year the preparer failed to tell me that they forgot to file my state return. I didn't find out for 2 years because I moved to another state and I only found out then because the state I owed taxes to intercepted my Federal Return. When I called Jackson Hewitt to have it researched, they told me that they had no record of my state return being filed and that it was my responsibility to check their preparer. I respect and admit that I should have paid more attention to what she was doing, but I had become comfortable that they would do a great job. I haven't been back since.
