I've had Mercury for awhile and I've never had any outstanding problems. I was involved in an accident a few years ago and Mercury responded immediately even though it was after midnight. The damage was pretty bad, but my rates didn't go up very much at all.

i got into a car accident and had to have my car repaired. when i got my car back, not everything was fixed, so i complainted to Mercury Insurance and they pretty much ignored me completely. at the end, i had to threaten them with a lawyer before they sent someone to come check it out. horrible, completely horrible!
