I had my neighbors tree fall on my house, my neighbor is a metlife customer as well. she had a lower deductable than me so i got hit with the deductable and an increase in my yearly premiums by half of my original yearly payment. Metlife said because in there investigation they decided because I never put in writing to her that the tree was of danger and the fact that it is only a discussion that happened between us. unfortunately Metlife will loose all of my business, my home, my 2 cars and my 36 foot trailer. Unbelieveablly bad business decision in this economic environment.
