When it comes to Life Insurance stay with a Traditional Whole Life policy that is designed to be in force when you die not if you die and then use the cash value as a nice diversification as a bond portfolio and then get aggresive in your ROTH IRA.

My mom had a basic Life and Accidental Death Policy with MetLife though a major union in NYC...how bout it it is minimal...and they will loose your paperwork because the money needs to be put into an interest bearing account...
