Checking Accounts
from M&I Bank
M&I offers almost as many different checking accounts as there are different customers. Basic accounts include free checking, student checking, e-checking (for online banking), and value checking (with free unlimited check writing). Other checking accounts include prestige checking for customers 50 and older, gold checking for avoiding ATM fees, and platinum checking for tiered interest.

Gold checking is great because there are no atm fees. But the gold account is more expensive. I think it is worth it with the rising atm fees
