They assessed a $70 late fee 14 times over the lenght of a 6 year loan with no notification. They will only remove 1 late fee for the entire loan. $70 is a little steep and there were times when the payment was 1-3 days late and were over a weekend. Who is to say they didn't hold the payment for a day?
I will never deal with M&T bank again.

Although the dealership did the leg work finding me the loan, getting it was hassle free. I didn't have to jump through any hoops. Any time I had questions the service people were nice and knew what they were talking about. All in all my experience with my M and T car loan was positive and I would borrow from them again.

M&T made everything go down very smoothly when i bought a new car. The down payment and financing terms were very reasonable, and they were just all in all pleasant to work with.
