This is an interest earning Checking account.  There is no monthly maintenance fee if you can maintain a $50,000 average daily balance, or a combined balance of $50,000 with other M&T bank accounts.  If you cannot meet this requirement there is a $24 monthly maintenance fee.  This account also features 15 non-M&T atm surcharge rebates each month.  It also features free money orders and traveler's checks as well as premimum rates on select M&T CDs.
