Originally financed our home through NBKC three years ago. Couldn't have been more pleased by the helpfulness of the agent or the low rate (much better than the large competitors). Now time to refi with lower rates and again NBKC is leading the way. Extremely easy to use, good closing costs, excellent rate. The only drawback is that NBKC sells your mortgage to one of the large lenders so you only get to work with them for a short time. (They are very open about this during your loan application.) A joy to work with. Highly recommended.

My husband handled the finances for the purchase of our new home - which we love! He mentioned a number of times that the Bank of Kansas city was very helpful in providing him with an affordable rate Mortgage. I don't know too much about the specifics; however, this bank really suited our needs.

just closed on my home. the person that helped me was Bernie Kalmus, and he's so helpful. whenever I send over my documents or leave him a voicemail, he literally gets back to me within an hour. I also had some trouble with some of my documents, which he also helped me with. their process was a little hard to follow, seems like their site is a little outdated and I had some troubles with it too.

the rate with national bank of kansas was lower than all the other quotes I got.

National Bank of Kansas City handled my home closing in New Jersey without any problem. The rates were very low and the customer service outstanding. I would not hesitate using NBKC for my next home loan

I submitted my info to the Costco/LendingTree program and National Bank of Kansas City contacted me. Their rates were really low compared to other banks. I got my house through Weichert, and they had their own mortgage services. When I told them about the quote I got, they were extremely surprised and kept asking me where I got it from.

I did end up going with NBKC and things worked out very well and the process was smooth.

Only thing to watch out for is that I heard their rates for condos/townhouses are higher.
