I was involved in a 4-car accident, 600 miles from home, driving a rental car, about 10 years ago. My insurance company was defensive and unhelpful. The driver at fault had Nationwide. The Nationwide agent was a pleasure to deal with, much more helpful than my own company's representative. She went above and beyond, and made arrangements with my car rental company. I was extremely impresse…d. I switched to Nationwide Insurance and have been with them ever since. I have no connection with the company, other than being a satisfied customer. Fortunately I have not had any other accidents since, but on the one occasion I described above, their service was simply outstanding.
