We got a good rate to switch..because of our good payment history. August 2008 we were invited to transfer our balance from other cards to NFCU at a 5.8% rate. Out other card was at 9.99 and then sudden;y switched to 12.99 In CC they seem to be better then most if you pay your bills on time!
