The doctor my children were assigned was out of business. The new doctor didn't return our calls and my children are not able to be seen for eight weeks. Imagine paying for a plate of food you can't eat for eight weeks.

Pacificare is owned by United Healthcare and UHC is a terrible insurance company. I worked for them and also carried their insurance. I hate it so much that if I would decline a job if they carried their insurance. Their coverage is terrible and their customer service is worse. Stay away from UHC and all of it's subsidaries.

You can find a doctor just by using the search tool on their site. I found a number of great dentists in my area based on that search who were covered. I'm self employed, so I had to go about picking my own insurance and PacifiCare made everything relatively clear and straightforward.
