Paypal has just introduced a new way to scam you out of some of your money. Here's a recent email I received from Paypal.

"Many of you asked us to make tracking your PayPal Debit Card cash back simpler. You got it.
Starting August 1, 2009, the cash back earned on your PayPal Debit Card transactions will be combined into a single deposit and paid monthly, rather than after each transaction, making your record keeping easier.
Your cash back rate won’t change."

What this means is that Paypal will now keep your cash back money and not release it till the end of the month. You are in fact making Paypal a interest free loan of your money till the end of the month.

I like the paypal debit card becuase we can get the money from different types of transaction from different countries. The bank account we are having is not much helpful to get money from differen countries lot of pocedure to get. Paypal is the best when we can do online purchases and other shopping becuase we get cashback for purchases eenthough its reduced its much helpful. No extra charges or hidden charges in this like other bank or something else. So i would recommend all to have a Paypal account and debit card and enjoy the service charge free sevices. thanks.

If you receive many of your payments through Paypal, you will love their Debit Card. No more waiting, no more extra fees when you want your PayPal money on your bank account. I use it all the time. Recommended.

Even thought I don't like Paypal, I kind of like their debit card. With instant cash back, I can go out and buy something, then the amount would be deducted from my PayPal account, but I would get the cashback right away as well. The cashback used to be 1.5%, but it's now only 1%, which is still okay.

Only concern I have is the security much like any debit card out there.
