I love my Progressive insurance. I got hit 2 times in 4 months. Once, the guy who hit me wouldn't answer phone calls, so Progressive covered everything upfront (except my deductible) and they took the other insurance company to court and got my money back. The second time, the guy admitted fault immediately and Progressive immediately got me set up with great service on my car. Love it.

We got this insurance with our van last year, and get the My Rate upload option with the Trip Sensor. The good thing is that since we've twice renewed, my insurance has gone down 21% as a result of the Trip Sensor. The only bad thing is that due to the Sensor's malfunction I SHOULD have received 36%. But they immediately sent me a new one and gave a discount, so I'll stick with them for a while.

I've had car insurance from Progressive for at least 6 years, and I have always found them easy to work with and very service-oriented. I have never found lower rates than I have with Progressive. I am especially impressed with their "concierge" service. I brought my car in to a claims center, and within 15 minutes, at most, I was leaving in my rental car; Progressive took care of everything else. I find the Web site informative and easy to use, and I make my payments online which is very convenient.

they offer great service and support.
when i was in an accident they sent me a check right away with no questions asked.
i will stay with progressive for life if they keep this up!!!
wow...horrible experience with Progressive.
A guy hits my car, yet Progressive which is my insurance providor, can't deliver what a customer expects- getting my car fixed properly. to make matters, they treated me as if i was the one that hit someone. are you kidding me? i speak with a rep that talks to me like a bad kid in school, so i decide to escalate this to his supervisor name Patrick, who also treats me like crap. he sounded very corporate like....you know what i mean? it's kinda like this....they sound and act like they know how to handle a claim, yet they treat you like crap and don't deliver anything to their clients! in a customer facing work environment, i understand that customer service is extremely important. i was extremely surprised at how a rep could talk to me like that...but then again...after speaking with his supervisor, Patrick who was even more rude, i now understand. they take your monthly payment, can raise your insurance rates without even telling you, and then when you need to file an insurance claim, you basically have to do their job for them. not too sure how this company has been around for so long. but i do know this....when a client is this upset, that they decide to take time out of their busy schedule to write a review like this....that says one thing. hopefully you guys don't make the same mistake as i did. Their rates are pretty good, but so far, out of the three Progressive employees, two of them were extremely unprofessional. one of them is a supervisor. that says one thing to me. i made a bad choice with this provider.
I dare you to look up Safeco (aka Progressive) in the BBB,anywhere. UNSAT. I'll cut to the chase. Hit by someone with Progressive Insurance? Get a lawyer. All states have a state bar referral service. You can get a 1/2 hour for about $30. All you need to take these clowns to small claims and get your vehicle fixed properly. Then get on your State representatives case about why this company is able to operate. This is a very dishonest company
A few years back I was hit by someone that used Progressive. I was very impressed with how quickly they got in touch with me and got my car fixed. The accident occured on a saturday afternoon and by that tuesday I had a rental car and my car was in the shop getting fixed. In addition they selected one of the best body shops in town, so my car actually ended up looking better than it did before. When a company gives this kind of service and you're not the one paying them, I can only imagine that it is this good when you are a customer.
