Regions auto loans allow you to borrow up to 110% of the manufacturer's suggested retail price for a new automobile, and choose from a variety of terms. When purchasing a used car, you can borrow an amount based on the vehicle's average loan value and select from terms based on the model year and mileage.
These people are the rudest I've ever had to deal with. I've tried three times to get my address changed and it still isn't done. I'm just glad I don't bank there. I can't imagine such incompetent people having access to any more of my money.
I have a car loan with Regions bank, and I would not recommend this bank to anyone looking for a car loan. Talking to customer service was a pain, I was tranfered many times before I even got to talk to anyone. Regions Bank is a good bank when it comes to checking and savings, but as far as anything else goes, I recommend you find another bank.
Regions Bank is the worst bank on the planet, They demonstate a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and are completely disrespectful to communicate with. Say NO to Regions!!!
I would not recommend a car loan from regions bank. Ever. They redid their system and switched everything over to a new format about a year ago. About two months before they startied the switch, I made a check payment by phone that was withdrawn from my account with the additional $20 fee added to it because "Thats just how (they) do things." Is what the lady I spoke with over the phone said. So about two weeks later I called in another check by phone. It too was withdrawn from my checking account with another $20 fee for processing. I made this payment before the payment was due by 12 days. When the next payment was due (the day of) I called in another check by phone... Only to be told that my payment due was double because I had not paid the previous months balance yet, not to mention the late fee of $10. I had to go to my bank and request a copy of the electronic check that they sent to my bank to prove that I had paid it. But what is worse is that when I took it to Regions Bank, they told me that the electronic signature that REGIONS had sent to MY bank was not their signature because it was all garbled up and that they could not read it and it was untraceable. Bull ****! I then had to go back to my bank and have a very nice lady working there fax a copy to one of the managers then talk to him on the phone telling him that yes they did take the money out of my account and it was transfered to their account and she then proceded to read the transaction number off the back of the electronic check that even at 62 years of age and glasses she could just managae to make out. He finally accepted this and told her that he personally would fix this. About 3 days later I recieved a call from Regions saying that I still owed for the previous month and that It has been hitting my credit report for the last 2 weeks and that I needed to correct this before they came to reposess my car. I was so furrious that I said something not so nice about thier mother then hung up the phone and went back to my bank. The lady called the manager back only to find out that "(he didn't) remember ever having this conversation with anyone" After about an hour and a half of talking to him, his superrior, and yet another person... this issue was resolved by one person clicking a few keys and making it show up correctly in their system. They then over the phone apologized once and told me that I would recieve an apology in the mail and seperately a letter telling me that my credit report would be fixed. I did recieve both, but the credit was never fixed. And I was never reimbursed for all the late fees either.
Then while trying to make a payment after their little switch over startied (and was supposed to be completed) The lady I was talking to told me that she could not find my account in the system. And that she could not accept a payment from me. At this point if I did not make my payment it would have been late and I would have been charged a late fee as well. So I basically said fine, be that way. Hung up the phone and went about my business and did not pay my bill. About a week later, the local branch called me and told me that they recived a reminder that I had not paid my bill and that I needed to come in and make a payment. I then told them that I would make a payment by phone if they could find my account. I gave them my social security number for them to look it up. I was no where in the system. So apparently durring the switch over, we discovered, that people were manually entering information in to the system and someone had completely screwed up my social security number. So not only was I not in the system correctly but I was also playing on someone elses social and messing with their credit (seeing as how my payments had been late like every month since the check accident) Well, after going to Regions local branch about 5 times and having my socal security card and drivers lisence copied and faxed to the woman who was supposed to be able to fix it right then, it finally got fixed about 3 months before I finally got fed up with them and went a refinanced through a credit card company and paid off the car with Regions.
